Get in touch with the sensory experience of your body through experiential anatomy, authentic movement, and moving elemental meditations
Curious about somatic movement and interested in having an experience? Or unsure of what that experience looks or feels like? This movement based class is catered for those curious about being in the felt sense of your body. Take an hour to orient and luxuriate in your whole self. We will explore somatic concepts from experiential anatomy, authentic movement, elemental meditations and the Word As Movement Process. This is a space to build tools of resiliency, care, and play as we begin to remember who we are through somatic body-based inquiries. For all bodies, as you are, wanting a container to be in contemplation.

The Philosophical Research Society is a Los Angeles-based, nonprofit institution founded in 1934 by scholar and prolific author Manly Palmer Hall as a repository of multicultural wisdom sources and a center of learning. With a campus designed by architect Robert Stacy-Judd and later designated a historical-cultural site by the city of Los Angeles, PRS is “dedicated to the ensoulment of all arts, sciences, and crafts.”
PRS was created to aid those seeking wisdom in the troubled time of its inception as well as those who would continue seeking practical and profound wisdom in the future. Through depression, wars, and other public crises, PRS has sought to preserve and grow our personal connection, so that, as Mr. Hall notes, “With faith, honesty, and common sense we can build a better world than any we have known.”
